When does the race begin?
Saturday, July 1, 2017 - 5K/10K/15K Runs begin at 7:00 am, the walkers will begin immediately following the runners and the Fun Run begins at approximately 9:00 am.

What do participants receive?

Each participant will receive a Hannibal Cannibal t-shirt, cinch sack race bag, bib, finisher's medal, and other goodies.

Who receives awards?

Trophies are awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers and the top 3 male and female masters (over 40) in each distance. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category and the top 3 finishers in the Filly/Clydesdale division as well. Each participant receives a finisher's medal.

Where is the race site located?
The start and finish of the race is located in downtown Hannibal, Missouri on North Main St. at the intersection of North Main and Hill St.

Are baby strollers allowed on the race route?
To ensure the safety of all participants, we do not allow baby strollers, carriages, scooters or other such items during the 5K run/walk or the 5K/10K/15K run. However, we do allow strollers in the Fun Run.

Can I bring my dog to the race?
No, we love pets but cannot accommodate them at the event.  The only exception is for required service dogs.

What do the proceeds from the Hannibal Cannibal support?
In 2017, all proceeds from the Cannibal will go to Hannibal Regional Foundation’s Cherish Campaign, which is raising funds to assist with expanding Women’s Health Services at Hannibal Regional. The expansion of Women’s Health Services at Hannibal Regional is a crucial element in meeting all the health needs of our region. Offering a full continuum of services and resources for all ages of women and their health needs is invaluable to growth and success in this area. Hannibal Regional Foundation is assisting in bringing these vital expanded services to our community through the Cherish Campaign.

All proceeds from the Fun Run will benefit the Hannibal Children’s Center.
