When does registration open and close?

How do I pick up my t-shirt and bib?

Wednesday, June 22, 2022 through Tuesday, June 29, 2021: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at Hannibal Regional Foundation (175 Shinn Lane, Hannibal, MO).  Please allow a minimum of 2 days after you register before picking up packet.
Thursday, June 30th
: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Hannibal Regional Foundation (175 Shinn Lane, Hannibal, MO).
Friday, July 1st:
9:00 am - 6:00 pm Hannibal Regional Foundation (175 Shinn Lane, Hannibal, MO).
Race Day: Starting at 5:30 am in front of Mark Twain Brewing Company

When does the race begin?

Saturday, July 2, 2022 – Rolling start begins between 6:30 am and 7:00 am.  Show up anytime during this time and immediately begin your run. 10K and 15K runners are highly encouraged to start at 6:30 am.

What do participants receive?

Each participant will receive a Hannibal Cannibal t-shirt, bib, and finisher's medal.

Who receives awards?

Trophies are awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers in each distance. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category. Awards ceremony will begin at approximately 7:45 am starting with the 5K awards.  Each participant receives a finisher's medal, which will be included in their packet.

Where is the race site located?

The start and finish of the race is located in downtown Hannibal, Missouri on North Main St. at the intersection of North Main and Hill St.

Are baby strollers allowed on the race route?

To ensure the safety of all participants, we do not allow baby strollers, carriages, scooters or other such items during the 5K run/walk or the 5K/10K/15K run.

Can I bring my dog to the race?

No, we love pets but cannot accommodate them at the event.  The only exception is for required service dogs.

What do the proceeds from the Hannibal Cannibal support?

In 2021, all proceeds from the Cannibal will benefit  Hannibal Regional Foundation’s Healthy Way 2 Campaign.

I’m coming in from out of town, where can I stay?

Hannibal offers a variety of hotel, bed & breakfast and camping options.  For a full list of accommodations, please visit the  Hannibal Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

 

Amenities

Are there restroom facilities at the race location?

Yes, port-a-potties are located directly behind the race location at the Hannibal Y-Men’s facility or bathroom facilities are available at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation bathroom facility located on Hill Street.

Will water be available during the race?

Yes, there will be a total of 5 water stations, including the end of race drinks and snacks.  Course stations will be located at the 5K turnaround, Sawyer's Creek(10K & 15K runners only), 10K turnaround(10K & 15K runners only) and Lover's Leap.  Bottled water will be served at all stations.

Is parking available at the race location?

On street parking is available throughout downtown.

Where can I get the race results?

Race results will be posted at 10:00 am on hannibalcannibal.com.

Where do runners get their timing device?

We will be using a timing system that utilizes a disposable timing tag that is attached to your bib number. It eliminates the need to return the timing chips at the end of the race, and also eliminates lost timing chip fees.
